- Qur'an. This site of the University of Southern California has three side-by-side transliterations of the Quru'an by Pickthall, Yusuf Ali, and Shakir. This USC site has a search engine for these translations.
- Resources for Studying Islam, compiled by Dr. A. Godlas at the University of Georgia is regarded by scholars as the most comprehensive academic website on Islam and includes links to many good resources including the Qur'an, the Hadith (sayings of Muhammad and reports about what he did), information about Sunni and Shi'te Islam, and a discussion about "Jihad, War, Terrorism, and Peace in Islamjihad" and much more
- Resources on the Internet compiled by Andrew Rippin, The website has links to many resource on Islam. Dr. Rippin's book Muslims: Their Religious Beliefs and Practices, revised edition (London: Routledge, November 2000) is recommended as a historical introduction to Islam.
- Islam Awareness, is a site aimed at educating Muslims about issues raised by Christians, for example, on the site of Answering Islam developed by evangelical Christians.
