Peacemakers Trust is a Canadian charitable organization governed by a Board of Directors.
The current members of the Board of Directors are Ernie Fraser, Catherine Morris, and Del Phillips. The governance structure also includes consulting directors invited from several regions in Canada or elsewhere who are involved as program advisors, as representatives from relevant educational or research institutions, or as leaders of specific initiatives of Peacemakers Trust.
- Catherine Morris, managing director of Peacemakers Trust, is a lawyer with leadership experience in the field of conflict resolution since 1983 including program development, policy development, research, and education in non-governmental organizations, professional organizations, academic settings, and court-related programs in Canada and several other countries. She is an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Human and Social Development and the Faculty of Law at the University of Victoria. She is a Faculty Associate for the Program in Peace and Conflict Studies at the Arthur V. Mauro Centre at the University of Manitoba, and a regular Visiting Professor at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.
- Ernie Fraser is a communications and management consultant with extensive experience in media relations at senior levels within government and crown corporations, including the B.C. Ministry of Forests, Forest Renewal B.C. and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
- Del Phillips is a former team leader for the B.C. Office of the Ombudsman, with an extensive background in domestic and international issues pertaining to children and youth. His experience also includes management of youth correctional programs and facilities, and a long history of leadership and development of non-profit organizations.
