Development and Aid

Action Against Hunger/Action Contre la Faim (ACF) has worked in Myanmar/Burma since 1994 and currently intervenes in Rakhine and Kayah states through nutrition, water, sanitation, and hygiene activities, and food security programs.

Adventist Development and Relief Agency International (ADRA) has committed itself to assist in relief and rebuilding efforts after Cyclone Nargis.

CARE (International) has worked in Myanmar/Burma since approximately 1994.

International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC)

International Rescue Committee

International Rescue Committee (IRC) launched humanitarian aid programs inside Myanmar following Cyclone Nargis.

Malteser International has been working in Myanmar since 2001.

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has assisted with relief efforts after Cyclone Nargis.

Merlin has worked in Myanmar since late 2004 on health care in coastal communities in the Irrawaddy Delta as well as running disease control programmes up in Chin State.

Save the Children (SC) has worked in Myanmar since 1995.

Shelterbox, worked in Myanmar after Cyclone Nargis through the Rotary organisation.
